No merely white, fluffy,
chunk o’ cotton candy
dandy pillow in the sky –

this cloud portrays “frightening.”
It’s dark. It flings lightning.
Swollen like a bruise,
it oozes raindrops from on high.

Hail pellets slice through it.
Wind blows curls into it.
See one coming? Run! Shun it!
Or be left wondering, “Why?”
