Where is the Library on Wheels? graphic
Library on Wheels

We’re excited to launch our Library on Wheels this summer—bringing the library out into the community like never before! Be sure to check our online calendar to see where the LOW will be popping up around Dripping Springs. We’ll be rotating stops throughout the area, offering programs at select locations and providing outreach at others. We invite you to meet us at a stop, place books on hold and pick them up, or simply stop by to say hello and browse our collection on board!

40th Anniversary Dino Scavenger Hunt

In celebration of the Dripping Springs Community Library’s 40th Anniversary, we’ve hidden 40 dinosaurs all around town for a community-wide scavenger hunt! Keep your eyes open and see how many you can spot this summer. The more dinos you find, the better your chances of winning a prize. Gather your friends and family, explore the community, and enjoy Summer Reading at the library. Good luck and have fun hunting!

How to Participate

  • Find a small toy dinosaur hidden around town
  • Snap a picture with your dino
  • Post your photo on Instagram or Facebook
  • Use #DSCLdino and tag @dscommunitylibrary
  • Bonus entry: Tag the business where you found your dino!

Happy hunting! 🦕
