Library On Wheels

Library on Wheels Stop Information:
The Dripping Springs Community Library’s Library on Wheels brings library services directly into the community through a variety of rotating stops throughout the Dripping Springs area. Stops may include neighborhoods, community gathering spaces, apartment communities, local businesses, parks, schools, and special events. Some visits may also be paired with programs or activities such as story times, crafts, STEM experiences, outreach events, or community partner programs.
Stop times and locations will vary throughout the week, so we encourage patrons to regularly check the Library on Wheels schedule for the most up-to-date calendar and route information.
All community members are welcome at every Library on Wheels stop. Neighborhood and community stops are open to the public and are not limited to residents living within a specific neighborhood or development. We are excited to bring books, resources, and library experiences directly to the community and make library access more convenient for everyone!
Picking up Holds
Patrons may place holds from the Dripping Springs Community Library main branch collection and select the Library on Wheels as their pickup location. Reserves are held for 7 days. After that, they are removed from Reserves and returned to the main branch.
Requested materials from the main branch can then be picked up at any scheduled Library on Wheels stop that is most convenient for the patron. Materials that are part of the Library on Wheels collection itself will not be reservable.

Weather Delays and Schedule Changes
Inclement weather, unsafe road conditions, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen hazards may prevent the Library on Wheels from arriving at a scheduled stop. For the most up-to-date information regarding delays, cancellations, or schedule changes, please visit the Library on Wheels calendar on our website before attending a stop. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our staff, visitors, and community.
