Book Love
![]() |
During February, we are encouraging everyone, young or old, to share the titles of books they loved as a kid (or their favorite right now at age 8 for example). The bulletin board will go up February 1st and we will have heart shaped note paper for people to write their heart felt favorite books down and they can share their name if they wish or a word or two about the books merits. |
Charlotte's Book Club
![]() |
![]() The Dripping Springs Community Library hosts Charlotte's Book Club, a unique book-centered discussion group, on the second Thursday of each month at 6 PM. The group takes its name from the Dripping Springs Community Library’s lifelong benefactor, Charlotte Walters Rhodes, and its inspiration from her appreciation of literature and the lively exchange of ideas. The 2012 reading choices reflect varied tastes in a balance of modern and classic American literature. For February we are reading Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. Charlotte’s Book Club is open to any interested reader in the Dripping Springs area. Copies of novels under discussion are available free of charge on a first come – first served basis.
