A "Come and Go" Family Craft Event
Thursday, March 13, 2 - 4 PM
Walk on the creative side with your child and you will both have a fun experience to remember. Come early with your little one or pick up your elementary child and come after school.
Let "Miss Marie" know you plan to attend by emailing with the names and ages of all the crafters in your group. She will make sure that there are plenty of supplies for everyone in your family and fun for everyone!
Looking for a Monday Reading Buddy?
Do you have a young reader in your home that might benefit from the
extra attention a high school student could give? As part of a pilot
program, there are limited openings for young readers in kindergarten
and first grade. Teen Reading Buddies would offer half hour reading
sessions on Mondays at 4:30 pm with a planned beginning date of March
17, 2014. The planned format is similar to the popular Summer Reading
Contact or for more information. Prompt registration is urged. You can register now by emailing with the name and grade level of your child.

A chess group with coaches Mark and Jan Robinson. Beginner's wanting to learn chess as well as experienced players are invited to meet, play and learn.
Whether you are already a seasoned chess player or just learning the basics, you will fit right in!

Story Times on Tuesday and Friday
9:30 am on Tuesdays: Lapsit Babies & Toddlers:
Enjoy a great interactive combination of short books, fun music and movement along with snuggly “Mommy and Me” time.
10:30 am on Fridays: The Preschool set, ages 4 and up:
Great books and stories, interesting activities, songs, and an optional art/craft time. Puppets visit on some Fridays and our visiting therapy dog, Slick Willy, visits on 4th Fridays.

Read to Me gift bags
Read to Me gift bags are available for our patrons who are 6 months old and younger.
Parents may ask for a Read to Me bag when they bring their little one to visit the library.
The gift bags include a book, a Read to Me informational brochure for the parents, a library card application and a small gift.
Materials are available in English and Spanish, so come by and pick one up!
